One of the first questions homeowners ask is "how many panels do I need?" The honest answer is: enough to match how you actually use electricity, no more, no less.
Start with your TNB bill
Your monthly bill shows your energy use in kilowatt-hours (kWh). That number, along with how your usage is spread across the day, is the best starting point for sizing a system. Higher daytime usage generally justifies a larger system.
Typical home packages
As a guide, our residential packages fall into a few tiers (your exact sizing is confirmed at the free site visit):
- Starter (7.04kWp), single-phase with 11 panels, ideal for homes with a TNB bill around RM500 a month.
- Popular (16kWp), three-phase with 25 panels, for larger homes with a bill around RM1,000 a month.
- Max (16kWp + battery), adds a 16kWh battery for evening use and backup during outages, for high-usage homes.
Why bigger isn't always better
An oversized system costs more upfront and may generate more than you can use or usefully export, which slows your payback. A system matched to your consumption gives the best return. We deliberately avoid upselling panels you won't benefit from.
How we size it
During a free site assessment we review your TNB bill, measure your usable roof area, check orientation and shading, then recommend a size with a clear savings estimate. You make the decision with real numbers in front of you.
